Why You Need a Professional team?
Crime scenes often involve biological hazards such as blood, bodily fluids, and other contaminants. Improper cleanup isn’t just unsanitary; it can also pose serious health risks. At Biohazard Solution Plus, we prioritize the well-being of our clients and the general public by adhering to strict industry guidelines and federal, state, and local regulations. Our approach ensures that each site is thoroughly disinfected and restored to a condition that meets the highest standards of safety.
In order to clean these scenes up, you'll need:
- PPE appropriate to the biosafety level of the area
- EPA-registered hospital grade disinfectants
- A professional hazmat removal and disposal team
Why is this? The risk of being exposed to mental and physical trauma, as well as potentially fatal diseases, increases significantly when attempting to do it yourself. That is why laws and regulations exist specifically to protect the public health when these things happen. It's not just illegal to DIY, whether by your own hands or your employees (if you're a business), it's potentially life altering.
Crime scene cleanup is far more than just tidying up; it involves removing biohazardous materials such as blood, bodily fluids, and other contaminants. Improper handling of these substances poses significant health risks and can lead to long-term hazards if not managed correctly. Our experienced team follows rigorous industry protocols, ensuring each scene is cleaned and sanitized with the highest level of care and precision.

Frequently asked questions
A biohazard is any hazardous biological material, such as those found at crime scenes, trauma scenes, sewage backups, and drug paraphernalia.
Improper treatment can spread contamination and lead to illness or life-threatening conditions.
Exposure to bloodborne pathogens can cause serious health concerns. A professional service ensures thorough sanitation while minimizing the risk of cross-contamination.
Crime scene cleanup requires advanced training, specialized protective gear, and regulatory knowledge. Standard cleaning services rarely have the expertise or equipment to manage biohazard situations effectively.
First, if this is due to a crime or accident, you will need to call 911 and report the situation. Once the initial crime scene or accident has been addressed by the authorities and the ambulance or coroner has removed the body (if there was one), you can start to process what things need to be done to get back to normal. It can be very overwhelming. Give us a call and explain the situation, give us the address, who we will need to communicate with and your insurance information. We can help. We may be able to come right away, however in some cases where there is an investigation in process, we cannot begin cleanup until the scene has been released.
Most standard homeowner's insurance policies do include coverage for biohazard cleanups. However, there can be exceptions, and some policies may offer limited coverages.
Crime scene cleanup requires specialized training, certifications, and personal protective equipment.
Standard cleaning services are generally not equipped to handle the dangers associated with biohazards.
